Why is dragon age 2 running slower than crysis 2 on my computer?

I recently got both games, and i recently got a new video card, so i cranked up the settings on both as high as they would go, and lo and behold, i was running at 40 fps on DA2 and 60 fps on Crysis 2. Here are my system specs:

Dell Studio XPS 8100

Intel Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.2GHz

Nvidia Geforce GTX 460

8 gigs of ram

Directx 11

Windows 7

I was really hoping to crank the heck out of DA2 and put in texture mods and stuff like i did for Fallout 3/New Vegas, Oblivion, and Morrowind. I can run just about any game I've thrown at it maxed out and modded out except DA2. any solutions? I've tried the Large Address Aware flag but that is already there on DA2. Is this just a poorly optimized craptastic console port?|||Here's my solution, Overclocking. Depending on your cooling, is how good you can overclock your card. This will help the performance part.

The reason DA2 is a little slower is because it may work better with a Quad core. The cpu your using right now is only 2 cores.

Otherwise, its just The actual game itself, 40 FPS isnt bad at all, thats where the images start looking really nice.|||To make Dragon Age 2 run faster, make sure no any service is running in the background that adversely affects its performance.

- Download Reginout, which is a service managing software.

- Install, run it.

- Click "Optimize Services" button.

The task will be performed automatically.|||Overlock %26amp; download reginout to improve performance for gaming.
