Reasons runescape is NOT gay?

Im sick of always hear people say "runescape has kiddy graphics" "runescape is gay" bla bla bla.


So i decided to give you reasons runescape is NOT gay so you can shut your ******* mouth.


1: graphics: A lot of people complain that the graphics are bad and that atari can do better, they say it because when they played it they played it in a crap computer, look, if your computer can afford good graphics, go to the sttings menu and click in the computer screen, then put it to high, you will then see that the graphics are now A LOT better that the MIN or LOW version (which was probably the version you played) i know they arent ps3 or xbox graphics, but at least they are better and decent.


2-Gameplay-A lot of people say is kiddy because they started as a low level and we all know that in rpgs the first enemies are always either cute, little, harmless animals, into Dragons, Orcs, high level ghost, theres even a monster called corporeal beast (search in google) that is supossed to be the MOST POWERFUL monster (i havent fighted him yet because you need a quest i do not have yet) the beast is a giant... is hard to describe but to defeat him you need TONS of players

The target player is a gamer, who wants a game that will last and is more concerned with good gameplay than anything else. E.g. I would say someone in late teens or early 20s is 'target'. But of course we know lots of people outside that range also play, and we don't really want to restrict to just one age anyway. We want as many people to enjoy the game as possible, and don't think you are ever too old to enjoy RuneScape. To attract that sort of player, we have been undoing some of the 'dumbing down' of the game that was rather unwisely introduced, and really focusing on good varied (intelligent) gameplay."

"Another thing that has cropped up in recent times, which we'd like to clear up once and for all, is the common belief that RuneScape is a game aimed at kids. This is absolutely not the case. We can see how this view has fostered, however, thanks to our over-zealous chat filter, Quick Chat worlds, dumbing down of certain bits of humour and storylines, as well as certain areas of the game like the Stronghold of Security, which do provide solid security advice but perhaps come across as a little condescending to the vast majority of our older players. I unreservedly apologise for this and to rectify this we have already removed a number of words from the chat filter and are currently working on reviewing and amending any content we feel is too kid-focused.





RuneScape benefits from one of the most diverse player demographics in the industry and is truly reflective of the worldwide population. As a responsible company we have had to comply with certain regulatory obligations to ensure online safety for any younger players and as a result we introduced Quick Chat for players under a certain age, but this was to meet our legal responsibilities rather than who the game is designed for, its probably also worth noting that we have a total of 4 Quick Chat worlds in a total of 165 RuneScape worlds. As I said earlier, we are gamers at heart and we try to design games and content which we ourselves would enjoy playing.





4-music: is not really that bad, no epic music but at least is better than some mmos with no music, if you dont like it, turn your speakers off or the music and put some rock music ;)

umadbro?|||Okay first off, this isn't a question. Second, I have no idea what Runscape is. Third, who cares what other people think? You just wasted five points just to make a statement that the haters won't even care about it.|||Runescape..


It is so repetative, you do the same thing over and over again to get a little level which does nothing..


It ends up taking hours for 1 level,


sucks|||you spent your time writing a book as a question. I took not time to read it becuse I have a life but I will say this.

I quit runescape and before you say I was "low level" I was level 123 with 5 99's and I think I had like 90m-ish when I quit.



The graphics are terrible,the skills are boring and repetitive, a lot of people are rude and like to brag over a fake cape.Also the music is terrible...



Yeah...If you take a break from Runescape for about a month when you log on you will see how nerdy the people are. Runescape dating, people go on and on about their lives to their "friends"...It's like they think they are truly in a real world.



Yeah sad that anyone would spend weeks/months to get a 99 that does nothing.



Oh and you think this will stop the trolls? This is just influencing them even more...
