Why is Just Cause 2 running slow on my computer?

I have a HP Pavilion Dv6 3061 laptop , specs are 1.6 turbocharged to 2.8 QuadCore / 8 threads and my video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 when i go to Can You Run It . com it says that i pass all of the recommended settigns (notice i said recommended not minimum) exept that i should have Ati mobilty radeon 5750 and i have 5650 , but in the video card features i pass all the recommended (again .. recommended which means more than enough) , + its slow even though i completely turned off Anti Aliasing... this really bugs me , i play alot of games all ps3 level i have dragon age 2 , Fallout 3 and Vew Vegas , Oblivion, NFS Hot Pursuit , Medal Of Honor 2010 and Lost Planet 2 , thy all run Flawlessly at the HIGHEST video/graphic setting , exept anti aliasing i keep it x4 or x8 depends on the game ... so anyway why is it so slow , its annoying|||Most games can only use one or two cores of a CPU. So if u have a quad core CPU, at best u are only going to be using half its capability. This is why a high clock speed dual core is better for gaming than a slower clock speed triple or quad core CPU.

I am unfamilair with the game engine used for Just Cause 2, but I can maybe offer a few suggestions to speed it up some. The first is to lower the screen resolution. Instead of 1920x1080, run it at 1360x768. U won't notice much difference on the smaller laptop screen. Turn of distance rendering, turn off shadows, turn off rendering for things like grass and reflections. Lower the spectral rendering. If u have the option, set it to run at 30fps instead of 60fps. The game will slow down during heavy loads to 30fps anyway.|||because your using a laptop that's why. Your system has weak specs for that game. Just cause 2 is a demanding game and you need to play it on a decent gaming computer to play the game to it full potential. Try lowering your settings. Those other games you mentioned can play on even the cheapest gaming computers. Your graphics are lack luster at best. the 5650 is not really a gaming card per-say its more of a step up from basic on board graphics. Also games like just cause 2 will benefit from a cpu that 3.0ghz or faster. The number of threads you have don't really mater just yet because most games will not take full advantage of a 4 core CPU or in your case and quad core CPU with hyper threading (each core can handle 2 threads).

If you knew what you were talking about then you would not be asking us now would you? You also can't compare a console to a computer buddy they are to very different platforms. Don't ask questions if your gonna be an A$$ to people
