Will someone who has a good knowledge of "computer gaming" please awnser a few questtions for me?

I've always been into MMO's but i've recentely figured out that a high performance gaming PC domincates on games compared to consoles? I really enjoy using my Xbox 360 controller mostly because i'm so used to using it like anyone else so could I somehow use it with a PC? Also what are the advantage's to playing FPS, and RPG's like CoD, Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, and Dues Ex Human Revolution on a high performance gaming PC rather than an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3? Any extra information you would like to add would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for taking your time to help out some random person, I really mean that.|||Xbox is a Microsoft console and if your operating system is also a microsoft product (most likely windows) then you can use your Xbox controller.

Just connect your controller via USB port with your computer and start the game.

Maybe you have to tell the game that you are using an controller by changing some settings in the game's options menu.

But then you should be able to play the game on your PC while using your Xbox Controller.

PS3 is a sony console and therefore the controller is not compatible to your computer. So the only option is to use the Xbox controller.

To answer the second part of your question:

If you play those games on a high performance gaming PC, the games are just running more smoothly than on Xbox/PSP - but those is almost not visible for the human's eyes.

The only visible effect would be the slightly shorter loading and saving pauses.

But that also depends on the game. Some are just running better on PC than on the Consoles and vice versa.

Therefor I would recommend to play them on the console which is most convenient for you :)

Hope that helps.|||There's not really any advantage to using a PC. If you prefer keyboard + mouse, PC will be better for you. If you prefer a controller, console will be better for you. Some games have XBox controller support, but you'll have to learn to use a keyboard and mouse if you want to move over to a computer.|||consoles have two huge advantages, Perfect Comparability and No Installs. Every 360/PS3 Game works in every 360/PS3. Every time, no guesswork. And No installation means instant playtime.|||Buy a xbox controller for your pc, you can buy them at dickSmith and other electonic stores|||is Dues Ex Human Revolution evan out yet ?

i see what your saying there are ways to get your 360 contrroler all your need it the wire and a joystic driver|||Playing games on the PC actually will be a better gaming experience for you. With computer games, the designers can slap on fore graphics, making the game more visually appealing. They can also make more controls that work better than a consoles control.

There was a recent study on people who played Halo: Reach. Half of the test subjects were on the PC while the other half were on consoles. In every game type, the people who were on PC dominated over those playing on consoles. That's because the PC game has more controls than the console. For the PC game, you can press a single button and spin 180 degrees around; in the console, you have to turn around manually, which takes longer.|||You don't even need a high performance gaming PC. A $500 self built one will perform better than a console.

Some games support an Xbox 360 controller, so yes you can use it.

The advantages are generally better graphics, dedicated servers, mods, more customization, better community, higher frame rates, but it really depends on your game. For example, MW2 does not have mods. Mouse %26amp; Keyboard is better for shooters because they are more precise and accurate. MMO's and RTS are better on PC as well.

And someone said that having higher frame rates isn't noticeable... well it really depends on the person. I can tell the difference if I'm playing a game at 30fps and 60fps (frames per second). Some people can't.

On console, most games are 30fps. You can't tell it is 30fps though because of the motion blur which is used to make it LOOK smooth. So it's better to play on 60fps, than 30fps.
